Become an EXPERT at growing your own vegetables and fruit! The Urban Farming Course is an intensive hands-on weekend program taught by Green City Growers Horticultural and Builds specialists, designed to give you the skills you need to grow food at home and in the community. Participants leave with an in-depth knowledge of course topics and hands-on experience.

SATURDAY 10am—4pm

> Raised beds, irrigation, soil, and physical structures — Erik
> Site selection, container choice, soil amendments — Jessie
> Planting, seasons, crop mapping, crop selection — Adrienne

SUNDAY 10am—4pm

> Maintaining the garden, insects, fungal — Laura
> Harvesting, processing, preserving, alternative urban ag (fruit, bees, chickens) — Jessie

Workshops will take place over the course of two and a half days, Friday evening to Sunday evening. Class space is limited; we recommend registering well in advance.

Dinner provided Friday night. Bring a bag lunch with you Saturday and Sunday.
