Fun day in Hingham
Last week at the Derby Street Fundraiser in Hingham, Jessie Dana and I were enjoying the day planting an assortment of vegetables, and devouring delicious burgers supplied by B.good with the youngsters who came out to enjoy the day. The children all got to decorate and label a Popsicle stick which they would then place next to what they planted. In a few weeks they will be able to come back and see how much their vegetable has grown, and even harvest it! The day was a complete success for all, the children had a great time, and we all had fun with them too. The day included a visit from the South Shore Natural Science Center, who displayed real snakes, turtles and the infamous Hedwig the Owl. The proceeds from this fundraiser go to Camp Harborview
