As some of you may know, we launched a fundraising effort on KickStarter to self-publish a wonderful book that our Horticultural Director, Allison, wrote. The book is called The Urban Bounty: Growing Your Own Fresh Organic Produce, Anywhere. It is a comprehensive guide to growing food in urban and suburban places with tons of easy-to-read information for everyone from beginners to experts. Our fundraising goal is $7,500 and we have until July 29th to reach it. If we do not reach our goal, we don’t get to keep any of the money. We are asking everyone who is in some way connected to Green City Growers - family, friends, customers, supporters, neighbors, and random strangers (if necessary), to make a small donation and help us reach our goal.
