Learn how to grow-your-own at work or in your community with professional assistance from GCG
STEP 1: Ask your HR Department or municipal Parks and Rec Department to schedule a professional on-site visit to evaluate potential growing space at your office or in your community. We also work with office management companies to accomodate multi-business sites.
STEP 2: Gather support from fellow co-workers or community members to get the garden scheduled for installation this fall or early next spring.
STEP 3: Enjoy your first garden session with our professional farmers spring 2015, and learn how to grow your own vegetables!
For the past six years, businesses and communities around Greater Boston like yours have offered the unique benefit of a Green City Growers raised bed vegetable garden with programming for adults. Each growing season, participants work alongside and learn organic growing techniques from our experienced team of horticulturists, promoting general stress relief and well-being as well as self-sufficiency.
“It’s a different feeling than touching my keyboard all day, and it’s nice to get out and see something green and growing and to battle some bugs instead of some technical hurdle for a little while.”
